Poor

Very disappointed in Glendale location. We went to Park Meadows before and loved it. Glendale was rude and poor service. I would recommend Park Meadows.

Not impressed at all. The haircut was fine and I had no issues with the actual cut, but the hairstylist was cranky, cold, and indifferent. Not at all suited to a children’s place. Thankfully my son was in an easy mood and didn’t seem to notice, but had he been at all scared or stubborn about a haircut, I can see the situation quickly becoming a disaster. This was our first visit and we sure won’t be back. The receptionist (Jessica) was lovely, but not the hair stylist. Unfortunately the hair stylist is the one who needs to be good with kids at a kids salon. EDIT: The salon did reach out to me about this review and this experience. They reached out to me in under 24 hours, offered a complementary haircut, apologized about the experience, and did not ask me to revise this review. Based on this, I am very happy with the customer service offered. We are looking forward to trying this salon one more time, and will just be careful about which stylist we book with. I increased the rating from two stars to four stars

We have been coming here for years, kids love the movies & sitting in the cars. To be honest, I always kick myself in the butt when I book with someone other than Valerie. Valerie is the only hairdresser that ACTUALLY listens to what I'm looking for my kids haircuts. Recently she wasn't available for the time I needed, so we went to another gal. During the haircut my son made a comment to the hairdresser that she cut his hair too short. Her reply was "It grows back" He wasn't pleased with the haircut, neither was I - But can't do much now.

We asked for a medium/shoulder length bob but my daughter’s hair ended up resting right below her ear. Our stylist seemed a little inexperienced, asking for assistance from another stylist to help her with cutting the back. She apologized several times, admitting that bobs were a little difficult for her to cut. I asked her if she could blend it more in the back since it was a little choppy, but I had hoped that she could have used a more critical eye to fix it on her own. The cost for it was over $20, which I think would’ve been worth it if it was an exceptional cut. The customer service was great. Our stylist did a wonderful job making my daughter feel comfortable.

Nice place to get kids haircuts I brought my son and daughter before and was happy with the results but a few days ago I brought my son in for a hair cut and I hadn’t seen the woman working there before. She wasn’t friendly at all and seemed annoyed to cut my sons hair. I asked her to leave it long on the top and give him a fade to a number 1 on the sides. She ended up giving him a side part to the right which I didn’t ask for, I like it the same on both sides. The hair on the top is long on the left side and very short on the right and looks very bad. If it was a good haircut I wouldn’t mind the side part that much. I have never had a stylist give my son such a bad haircut.

The hair dresser was so not gentle ! I asked her to stop for one second because my son was jumping in his chair while she was working with the machine , he was really uncomfortable , her answer was that she can’t stop because kids have a 15 minutes sitting span and she has to finish the haircut before. My son was really unhappy and she couldn’t sense that because she wanted to get over with it . It got to a point that I had to take my son of the chair because now he was crying that hair is going into his eyes and mouth. She was cutting it so un carefully , it went all over. she still didn’t stop so I just picked him up. When I did that she told me “ don’t hit me”. I was in shock. Anyhow I asked the receptionist to come and I told her what just happened and I wanted a 3rd person to hear this so it’s clear that it’s not true.. I asked the recepiosint to call her manager so I can complain but the hairdresser had already called the manager and the manager instructed the receptionist to call the police . I just couldn’t believe it. I asked the receptionist to call her manager back. I had my son with me and the last thing I want him to experience was police arriving to question is mother.. she wouldn’t call her but just gave me her phone number, but the manger didn’t pick up my call. I left fast because I really didn’t want my son to get scared off. It was a really unreal experience . I couldn’t believe I am facing this situation on a nice Sunday afternoon. Needless to say I never had the police called for me before . I never had any issue of this sort in my life. I wish the manager bothered viewing her cameras recordings before ordering them to call the police for something I have not done. This was very upsetting. I was more than disappointed obviously.
