I originally started going here because I followed my hair stylist as she has done my hair for years. Upon my first visit I noticed tension in the air and attitude from the staff. I brushed it off because I wanted to stay with my stylist rather than find a new person/place. I have been to the salon on a handful of different occasions to pursue my hair care needs and the front desk girl, Bobbie, was often rude and consistently forgot to give me reminder calls even after she was specifically instructed to call me because email is not a reliable source for me. There was another woman, Connie, who always had an attitude as well. I think she's just an overall unhappy person as she always had an ugly look on her face. I was uncomfortable and felt all of this was highly unprofessional.
I myself am a receptionist/esthetician at a polished medical spa and public displays like that between staff in front of clients is 100% unacceptable. The service industry is all about creating an experience for your clients and I have to say they didn't do well in that department. The pricing is very reasonable and the product lines are decent, however, I will not be returning. I will just purchase my own product and pay my stylist to provide my service at home, moving forward, to avoid the awkward and uncomfortable behavior at Hair Studio Plus. I can't even get a reminder call for goodness sake.
