So this review is for Nigel, since none of the stylists at pure have anything to do with each other and that's exactly what they'll tell you if you call with any questions. I had purchased a groupon for a haircut with Nigel which required an appointment to redeem. I called the salon to make my appointment and was told by another stylist who answered the call that "since they rent booths" I needed to go online to make an appointment with an individual stylist. I indicated that since we're already on the phone and I'm driving at the moment can you just have him return my call, maybe? She wasn't particularly accommodating but she did take my name and number and Nigel called me to schedule an appointment shortly thereafter. My appointment WAS today and I left about an hour early to be on time. Shortly after I left, my husband called to say he noticed an email about my appointment being rescheduled. Confused, I called the studio to ask when they had me for. Once again, another stylist answered the phone and informed me that he has no idea since "we rent booths" and that I would have to get in touch with Nigel directly. I noticed then when I went back through my phone calls to find Nigel's phone number that he had texted me at 8:30 in the morning on the day of with less than 3 hours notice to say my appointment was being rescheduled. At that point, I was already parking my car at the salon, and I responded to his text to let him know. His response was only that he'd see me later on. No apology, no explanation. At that point I decided it's probably not the best idea to have someone this lacking in professionalism cut my hair. I told Nigel he could keep the groupon. He said he would have it refunded and that I would need to contact Groupon customer service to complete the refund. It's really not about the money, it's really about wasting my time. When you make an appointment and pay for a service ahead of time, you reasonably expect a certain level of professionalism and this wasn't it.
