Awful!! Casey butchered my blunt cut, straight waist length hair. She cut it with me sitting in a low chair with her bending over to cut it. I asked if I should stand but she said no. Styled it by curling the ends and this is what I got home with… Also told her no layers but the right side was heavily feathered, not appropriate for fine, thin hair. NEVER AGAIN

I had provided a favorable prior review but my experience with this salon has since sharply declined. I've been going to professional salons for over 30 years with an average tenure of 6 years at a salon. I'd been patronizing this salon for 2 1/2 years and while my initial experience with the stylist was favorable, I was repeatedly having very unpleasant encounters with Ira who on several occasions was abusive and derogatory and the last encounter was so humiliating I had to inform the stylist I could not continue. Yet I always treated the stylist and staff with utmost respect and tipped generously on every visit. Concurrent with the unpleasant encounters the quality of the haircuts were declining while they were raising prices without even providing notice which I've never experienced at other salons. Further they hired a new receptionist who lacked basic communication skills and caused unnecessary ordeals and miscommunications that Ira only compounded. I've since changed to another professional salon in the area that appreciates my patronage and shows a great deal more class. After the decline in services, price increases without notice and awful experiences with the owner I do not recommend this salon. RESPONSE TO OWNER'S COMMENTS: Contrary to Ira's comments below, I specifically emailed the salon asking to cancel my scheduled appointments and took my business elsewhere. At no time was I told to stop going there. The owner actually wrote in his response to my prior review: "it's been such a pleasure to work with you over this past year..." IT'S UNFORTUNATE THE OWNER HAS TO RESORT TO A DISHONEST AND ARROGANT RESPONSE TO DISPARAGE MY POOR EXPERIENCE RATHER THAN HONESTLY ADDRESS CONCERNS STATED. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND AGAINST THIS SALON!

I’ve been a client for over 5 years and I can’t imagine going anywhere else to get my hair cut and styled. The staff are incredibly friendly and the stylists are always hard at work making their clients hair dreams come true. It’s a place you can look around and admire all the people who love what they do and obviously do it so well. Nicole is my go to favorite (she’s the one with the extra warm personality and fantastic smile) but I’ve honestly never seen someone walk out of there with anything less than the best. Give it a try, I promise you’ll love it.

From one hair stylist to another Terrance Chen is pretty amazing with his talent. Super happy with my haircut! I will be returning. I am also a professional hairstylist that wanted my turn sitting in the chair and I am pleased to have found Terrance. Clean and professional environment. I got what I was looking for 😊

My hairdresser was out of the country for a month and I needed my hair styled for a special occasion. My son goes to Ira Ludwick and recommended that I try it. I booked an appt. online the same day I needed my hair done. They were excellent. They even fit me in to get my eyebrows done. Very impressed. Since Mynd closed, I now have a new place to get my hair and waxing done at the same time!
