Called and politely asked when the best day(s) of the week and times to come in are, generally — i.e., when it’s probably the least busy. The woman who answered the phone went out of her way to be rude, obnoxious and condescending and refused to answer such a simple, reasonable query. Just a lousy experience for no reason except that these people don’t know how to handle rudimentary customer service. This is an argument for paying a bit more to go to a salon where the customer service is far superior.

Horrible! Told the "stylist"" to trim an keep even, and where I parted. She proceeded to comb through my delicate hair with a fine tooth comb... breaking it TERRIBLY all the while complaining it was MY fault I had dry hair. She basically spent 20 minutes telling me how I had "bad hair", and instead of using a proper comb she just RIPPED through my hair. THEN she cut odd severe angles that will take me at least 9 months to fix. God awful. DO NOT GO HERE. One star is too many!

I am shocked by the way I as a customer was treated while visiting this establishment on October 31, 2017. After coloring my hair by my favorite hair stylist Helen, I was placed under hair dryer. At this time, there also was another hair stylist by the name of Kelly who was free and on her cell phone carrying on a loud and lengthy conversation in her own native language on SPEAKER PHONE!!! After a few minutes when I couldn't tolerate it any longer, I politely reminded her that the loud conversation was bothering me. She not only did not stop the conversation or even turn off the speaker, she got annoyed as how rude of me to criticize her being on her personal phone while on break and continued her conversation. This annoying act brought complaints by other customers sitting next to me. I could no longer tolerate it and told my own hair stylist about it who was embarrassed by the incident. The assistant manager who was covering for the absent manager Marilyn Atwill, just took Kelly to another part of the store without apologizing for the incident. I asked the information on the store manager and got her business card in order to be able to let the public know what is happening in that establishment. To this date I have not heard anything from the management of that organization! I must say that I like my hair stylist Helen but this treatment of customers has baffled me as what directionThe Hair Cuttery is on with respect to employees treatment of customers. Whatever happened to the respect for the customers? I demand an answer and an apology from the management and deciplin with respect to this employee. Fay G.

May is the best. I told her what i was going for, im a poppin' red head with a bob. She listened, then mixed 2 reds i liked and a brown. The color was AMAZING and the cut was the perfect cute legnth. She took time and didnt try to pressure me into products i dont want. (That happens a lot and makes me very uncomfortable.) YAY MAY!! See you soon!

For a few years I went from hair salon to hair cut/color... but never really feel happy. Then a friend recommended Kelly. She listen to what I want and offer suggestions based on that. She absolutely did a terrific job. I loved the hairstyle she gave me! The best thing for me, they really take time to listen to what I want and then do it. I finally found a place I will stick with!
