This place is great! Everyone is super friendly, the salon is beautiful, and they carry a lot of high quality products. They also offer you a complimentary beverage while you are getting your hair done :) Ruby is the best--she's sweet, attentive, detail-oriented, patient, and has a really positive energy about her. I've been seeing her for the last few months and have been happy with her cuts and color!

Ellie has been my colorist for over 10 years! I owned seveal salons and personally know over 100 hair stylist. Folks when it comes to color, highlites, extentions she's as good as it gets. I would never let anyone but her touch my hair. I have very thick, curly hair and she keeps it beautiful, perfectly highlites and healthy for over a decade.

I was going to be in Miami from out of town and came here after searching online for a place that could do my dark roots blonde to keep up with my previous color jobs. I'm getting married in Miami in the new year so it was essential that I find a solid colorist as I will need it done again a week before the wedding, so I was a little nervous. I emailed the salon in advance to inquire and make the appointment and Ellie was quick to respond and professional, recommending me to go with Shelby. I'd rate this salon 4.5 overall, just some minor improvements. Shelby did a fantastic job on my hair, matching my color and even blending it better than it had been and improving the tones. It was not a quick or simple job as I have very long and a lot of hair but she patiently did a full head of foils and toning and it came out really amazing. The only small issues were that she couldn't get started on me until 30 minutes after my appointment as the salon was pretty busy, and that it's a little bit tricky to find, tucked away in a side entrance in a building. Because I had an evening appointment the time ran a bit beyond closing so for my next one I made it during the day so we have plenty of time. Prices are fair and service was friendly. This is a small salon but good things come in small packages! Highly recommend Shelby and True Hair Miami!
