Anxiety inducing associates. I simply asked the cashier if they carried the brand “Merit” as she was processing a pick up for me. But instead of processing the pick up order – she was consumed with looking up the brand merit (because she’s never heard of it) and where I could find it – even though I confirmed that I know that it is sold at Sefora and not to worry about it. She proceeded to be curious about what specific item I wanted from that brand and it was just a weird experience. It literally took 10 minutes for me to pick up an order because she was so invested in doing her research on Merit. Lol. It doesn’t end. I picked up my order, (finally) and then proceeded to walk over to an item that I’ve been so curious to try out for weeks - only to have an associate walk up to me and tell me that she prefers a totally different item - doesn’t allow me any time to test it and has me try the item she likes instead. When she left, I walked back to the item that I was interested in and within seconds another associate comes up to me asking if I needed any help. I just left at that point. It was a weird and overwhelming experience. Too much handholding. Let your customer be invested in what they are there for, not your overwhelming commentary, opinion or curiosities. As a mom of three with very limited time out, I won’t be wasting my time at this location again.
