I have been going to Alice for about a year and a half and she never stops amazing me! I started going to get Senegalese twists done and was very pleased how she was able to hide my bald spots very well. When I got tired of the twists I was ready for a weave and Alice was my only choice. To her hair braiding and extensions are a work of art. I told her what I wanted done and I sat as she planned and delivered! She never seizes to amaze me. I understand why you need to call two weeks ahead. She stays booked for a reason!

I have found a EXCELLENT Hair braiding place. The owner named Alice, showed me such warmth. She braided my hair sooo fast. and did a very professional Job. I got there too early, and she started me anyway. She also gave me a BEAUTIFUL hair style. I have a large patch of hair that's missing on my head, but Alice did my hair so well, that you can't see it AT ALL. PLEASE give Alice a try. You won't be sorry. I could go on and on, but I think you understand what I'm saying to you. Oh Alice also sells the hair, and other hair supplies. She was not pushy about buying from her, but please do. Going to Alice is worth the trip. Also she deserved a tip from me, and she got it. Naomi

I just came back from having tree braids done and I'm sad to say that I really don't like the result. Alice is a nice lady but sometimes, it's just best to tell someone that you don't know how to do the hairstyle that they want. As an African myself, I know hair braiding as I braided hair from the age of 9. I just never can do it on myself except for a few cornrows. And I went to her because it's for a big event and wanted my hair professionally braided. When you do tree braids, you have to pull the extension out on both sides, from the top of the braid. That's what allows tree braids to be parted anywhere. She pulls the extension out from the bottom of the braid, thus exposing the cornrow, and only from one side, which again exposes a big cornrow when parted. That is not tree Braiding. Oh she also created a part that she "fixed" by crocheting, but the crochets started coming undone before I even reached home. I drove 1.5 hrs, paid $150, and I'm very disappointed with the results and taking it all out. I took some pictures and I wish there is a way for me to post them here. I can't judge her skills for other hairstyles, but from what I can tell looking at my hair, crochets and tree braids are not her strong suits.

Very professional and personable!! I was skeptical about getting my hair braided in a style I've never done before (a braided updo). It came out cuter then the pictures I showed her. She really took her time and made sure she knew what I wanted before starting and finishing the hair style.. The braids are not too tight and very neat. I will definitely be going back!!

i had a wonderful hair experience today. i got the exact hairstyle i wanted. the hair was not tight - not even a little bit. hair is light on my head. she was quick, professional, and a nice person to talk to. she had the supplies (hair) in house. and she didn't ask me to blow out my natural hair, she just advised me what would work best with my hair. LOVE Alice and her work!!! Angela
