First relaxer - turned out great.

I did quite a bit of research before selecting Style Worthy for my daughter’s first relaxer. Scoured the internet and read all the reviews etc., but even with all that, it still did not prepare me for our experience that day. It was beyond GREAT. Shay’s reviews were spot on for timeliness, professionalism and feeling of family. The salon was meticulously clean, let me restate “METICULOUSLY” That level of clean did not happen just because a pandemic showed up, it was obvious this is a standard that she has maintained for a very long time. Shay was in continuous motion cleaning and sanitizing while waiting on the relaxer to process and hair to condition. She was very kind and conscious of my daughter’s excitement to finally have her hair permanently straight. Her hair turned out gorgeous in a style she can easily maintain herself. Style Worthy is our salon, period.

The owner is a great stylist. She's very professional but down to earth. The location is in a good, centralized location of Waipahu. There's plenty of parking. It's best to make your appointment way in advanced since this is one of the only African American beauty salons on the island. Well worth the time, money and if you're coming from town then it is also worth the travel time.
