I have had some pretty bad experiences getting hair cuts but this one was definitely the worst.
Amy C. cut my hair. I told her exactly what I wanted. Bald fade to a one, hard part and a quarter inch off the top. She said well you have about 3in on top. I had to reiterate what I wanted because that wasn't what the system said I had the last time. She seemed distant barely looked at me. I should have asked for a different stylest right then.
I have to add I was very polite to her from the beginning. I work in the service industry and know what it is like to deal with rude customers.
She did the sides which were fine. When she got to the top she said "okay, you want to keep the top?" I thought to myself well a quarter inch isn't very much I'll just leave it because I like the length. So I said "yeah I'll just keep it." Then she says "I'll just take a little bit off." I say "okay sounds good." because that's what I asked for. She says again "just a little bit" She then immediately takes off an inch and a half before I can say anything.... half of the length of my hair....
To her credit she knows how to cut hair. She just doesn't listen to her clients. She is not a new stylist she told me she cut my hair in September, 6 months ago. After this experience I remembered getting a hair cut at this location and it being way shorter than I asked for. I can only asume it was her that messed up my hair before I thought it was just a fluke...
If you don't want your stylest to to listen to you go to Amy C. I think she would be better suited cutting hair for the Marine Core than Great Clips.
