Poor Service

Not sure what is going on with The Drybar Louisville but the service is certainly lacking. I have gone there for years but the last two visits have not been good. Both stylist scrimped on shampoo so my hair wasn’t really clean either time. Normally they want to use way more products than I prefer when styling my hair but the last two times the stylists hardly used any products. Neither stylists had previously done my hair so they didn’t know my preference. It leads me to think that they have been directed to use less products. Both stylists weren’t good at using a round brush so with barely any product it was not a good job. I was so disappointed In the past the shop was very busy no matter what time was appointment was scheduled. The last two times I was there there were only a few customers there. The price has increased and the tip percentage starts at 25% unless you do a custom tip. So it cost more for a subpar job. Will be looking at other options.

This was my third visit to Dry Bar, my appt was 20 minutes earlier than when they took me back. I have never had such a rushed appt. I explained I wanted a straight sleek Blowout. The stylist was so rough and hurt me, I am not tender headed by no means. Iwas left with the impression she was rushing to get out of work as I was the last appt of the day. Instead of straight, I had curls all over. A straight iron never touched my head. Very disappointed with my service this time. The receptionist was very kind as I was clearly upset, she told me she couldn't do anything but that I should call the next day. I explained I would be travelingwhich is the reason I made this appt. and had no time to call. I left a review with the company website but nobody followed up.

I love Dry Bar! The service is consistently great and I love how my hair looks, feels and smells after the blow out.

I walked in to schedule my appointment as I had very specific questions that could not be addressed by booking online. Dee was the receptionist at that time, she greeted me enthusiastically, listened to all of my needs and concerns patiently and booked me with Bree as she felt Bree would be the best fit for the blow out I was requesting. I am confident that my dirty martini style will turn out perfectly as I am in the chair now and the hair is transforming into just as I envisioned. Thank you Dee and Bree!

The best place for a quick blowout. Their tag line is 'no cuts, no colors, just blowouts' and that is what you get. Their products are amazing and the tools are great too but a bit pricey. If you are short on time and want consistent results, this is the place to GI.

Today was my first visit to Drybar and I was so happy I went! Landy did a fantastic job! My hair has never looked better. It was so comfortable, the salon was beautiful, and the associates were very friendly. I highly recommend the talented Landy and the whole group at Drybar in St. Matthews!
