Beautiful shop, with a great atmosphere. Melessa is AMAZING!!! She's very knowledgeable on healthy hair and versatile styling. I am currently in the process of going natural so as a protective style, she install a 360 full lace wig. Its beautiful, I get so many compliments on how natural it looks. Its definitely worth the money and time. Every time I go to her shop for a maintenance appointment or new placement, I am thoroughly pleased with my hair, service, and her attention to detail.

My experience at melessa's weave place was spectacular and professional. She knew exactly how i wanted my hair done and she did just that. She's hands on with any hairstyle you ask her about as a professional hairstylist. I would recommend all my friend to her because she knows what she doing. I'm so glad i found her to do my hair as a new client i can truly say a job well done and I'll continue coming to her because she's truly knows how to get your hair right. Thank you so much for accepting me as a new client you made me feel like family in your salon. I wish i can give you ten stars instead of five because you deserve it. See you next time when you do my hair.

I am absolutely in love with my hair!!! Melessa did it herself and it was worth every penny, and it was a pretty penny but I would definitely recommend. I have about 150 dreads at 13/14/15 inches long. She was able to get them down flat and installed a lace front wig. She was able to sew it in and it looks so good. I have no complaints!!! This was my first ever going to a salon and she has made the experience so awesome. It felt as though I knew her all my life. Not only is her interaction with her customers 100%, she was so patient. After making my appointment I probably called her 6 times with questions and concerns and not ONE TIME did i hear annoyance or irritation in her voice. I will go back to her always! I also found out that one of her assistants relock dreads so when I get this hairdo out I will go to Shay who is a very lovely sweet woman and get my dreads relocked!

I'll be honest, my first time getting a sew in with her wasn't gracious at all. For one I had a the fro hawk cut at the time, so I only had wanted my hair sew in on top. I tried to negotiate that to Malessa initially because what I wanted was simple. And I was upfront about all that with her and she said the price was $450 with hair included. To make a story short, when I arrived to her salon. She took me to the back and started coming at me about hair coloring (WHICH I DIDN'T WANT) I wanted something simple -- plus I already had $460 towards the tab. As I refused the color she got hostile and told me how she didn't come down her shop to have her time be wasted for her service. Than had the nerve to say "sense my money is long" so killed it with kindness and let her know that I could understand that. Yet that was besides the point. It was very rude and I left feeling upset and hustled from the entire experience. I mean, it's a way to address things and I won't be returning.

I love my hair! Melessa is excellent, very quick and professional quality hair service. The atmosphere is very classy and elegant. I will definitely become a regular client :)
