I've never had a haircut here, so I can't speak to that. But Denise is wonderful for waxing. I get my face waxed year-round - lip, chin and eyebrows - and various body waxing during the summer. I've tried *tons* of people, and Denise is one of the best - quick but thorough. It is a weird environment - but I don't mind for the results.

I went with a friend. My friend had the woman, who told her that the last person who cut her hair was awful and that you can't have choppy angles (even though that's how she wanted it cut). She didn't listen to instructions and cut just a diaganal line of hair, telling her how damaged and awful her hair was the whole time. She was also smoking a cigarette and had awful hair herself. A scrunchi?? Stay far away.

The woman started cutting my hair (in 4" chunks) before I had a chance to tell her what I wanted. Now, it's too short to pull back. Also, she spent the whole haircut accusing me of having too thick hair, so she had to hurry to be in time for her next appointment. Stay away!!!
