This place is clean, and smell good. The staff are on game to make every Customer happy and enjoy while getting their hair done. They speak English most the time for everyone to understand what they talking about. Their price is perfect. I would love to recommend people to go there at Sylvia Hair Saloon to get their hair done. I love this place!😊😊😊

I am not giving a low rating because of the hair or hairstyle I received. I am rating this shop this way for the hair I did NOT receive. I waited for my stylist for thirty minutes and no show. The lady working was on the phone the whole time. I just found there to be a high level of unprofessionalism. You couldn't get off the phone to call my stylist to see where she was? I would have just liked to have been informed on what was going on.

Sylvia African hair braiding at 229 Inkster Rd is the best African shop i have been to..I have been getting my hair braided for 20 years..The prices were reasonable, The staff is so nice and warming and always making sure you are comfortable and okay..The ladies did a great job on my hair..I love Gazelle she is the best, she made sure i was satisfied with my hair and ok..Looks like i have a new hairdresser Gazelle..I Thank all the ladies staff at the shop they are just angels..I highly recommend everyone to try Sylvia African hair braiding you won't be dissapointed, you will be satisfied and most important you will walk out feeling like a star😁and looking like a beauty queen😉..

Very Good. Fast, Friendly, Courtesy. Did a great job on my hair braided. Two young ladies worked on it together. Out in about 3.1/2 hours. For my style I received. Will be returning.

I've been getting my hair braided for years and this is by far the best shop I've ever been to. I won't let anyone else braid my hair besides the wonderful ladies at Sylvia's. They are kind, professional and I get nothing but compliments on how great my box braids look. If you want excellent service and beautiful braids, go to Sylvia's. You won't be disappointed!
