I have thought this review through for awhile so I’m not just leaving a heated poor review. I’ve been here twice. The first time, I thought I just didn’t explain the haircut that I wanted well enough and the stylist, whom I don’t remember her name, was 45 minutes late for my appointment. I decided to give it another try yesterday (5/3/19). First off, I received a call from the receptionist asking for me to move my appointment 2 hours later because Elisha (spelling?) the stylist whom I was booked with was trying to fix a clients color (the receptionist left a voicemail saying that the clients dye job became a “special project†and was taking longer). I was as understanding as I could be. When I arrived for my appointment, Elisha was in so much of a hurry and was NOT gentle whatsoever. She grabbed my hair aggressively over and over again and dry cut most of it. After she washed my hair very hurriedly and aggressively, she had hit me in the head multiple times with her hands and the hair dryer. My appointment was at 5:30 and I thought that perhaps she had another appointment at 6 because, I swear, she was in so much of a hurry to get me out of the door. Part of the joy of a haircut is the relaxing zen and gentleness of the stylist, and Elisha provided 0% of that. I was very stressed out the entire time. My hairstyle looks just fine, but I’m uncertain about going back mainly because both times I’ve been, the scheduling has been very unorganized. I still left a tip because my hair looks great, but I’m sure this whole rushed experience was all a result of poor scheduling.
