Thank you Miss Lori for the great haircut. It was exactly what I was hoping for lol. Lori gave me a dry express cut and she does wonders with her scissors! I will be back. Great salon, feels cozy when you walk in with the beautiful plants and lovely sofa.

As you can see from my picture, they'll take care of your hair. Of course they do better if you have some on top, particularly if it's curly.

I called after my appointment at another salon was cancelled, hoping I could somehow get in to get a haircut prior to a vacation. I had a very narrow window of time and Theresa so kindly got me in and cut my hair fabulously! Highly recommend!

I woke up on Motherâ€™s Day and areas on my blue pillow and sheets cost $700 are reddish purple- dye was not properly rinsed from my hair. This is not a place for Black hair. Biracial hair yes and so on. Black hair no. I just needed a simple color and for greys that frame my face to be covered brown and I was given bright red/purple hair and they tried to convince me the color was brown. â€œI think you are seeing it in the wrong lightâ€ I wish I could put a pic here for all to see my red/purple hair. My kids and friends â€œare you punk rock now?â€ â€œYou look like Justine sky the girls with the purple hairâ€ I cried. The stylists and owner made me feel like a freak having 2 people help with my hair and Teresa the owner made it a negative experience by constantly checking on the stylist heather indicating the stylist was incompetent. I know the proper way to do and products for my hair and they disregarded that. ( so hard to find a decent place in Minneapolis for black hair)I asked for a wet brush so I could help with my hair and there was none in the salon. Heather the stylist handled my hair as if she didnâ€™t want to touch it/was intimidated by it and barely rinsed the dye. Teresa insisted the heather use a particular conditioner (which made my hair hard and dry) and not the one I know works and I asked for. The stylist 8-10 times took approx 20 strands of hair and snipped maybe 1 cm of hair- she seem intimidated the whole time doing my hair barely scrubbed my hair. At the end Teresa charged me $102 and said â€œI saw her give you a full haircutâ€ even as the stylist denied she gave me a cut. When I said I would come back for a fix â€œgood you get to come back she gets to experiment with you.â€ With a smile. I paid $76 for the clown color feeling used and defeated and disrespected. I gave heather a $6 tip she should have received none and I should not have had to pay $76 for something I did not receive. I can tell Teresa is all about the $ and not quality service. If I could give -0 star I would.

I love the decor and the offering of tea or water. I sat in a chair with a large mirror, so I wouldn't miss anything. My stylist was polite and asked frequently for my comments. Very pleased.
