The stylist I see is great. (Pam) But the place is such a graveyard of nobody being there, it is getting creepy. I think the owner must want it to fail for a Tax write off. Maybe he'll try to to torch the place or something for insurance. I don't know what but you get the feeling something very wrong is going on there so I say stay safe and look elsewhere for a haircut.

I've been consistently impressed with Ficocello's. The salon itself is nice; nothing fancy, but it's clean and pleasant and parking isn't too tricky. The staff is very friendly, and their prices are reasonable. This is a great place to go if you're like me and have curly hair. I've had bad experiences at other salons where stylists have cut off way too much hair, not realizing how much curly hair like mine shrinks when it dries, or have cut the type of layers appropriate for straight hair rather than curly. That has never happened at Ficocello's. I've been going to see Alex at the Snelling Avenue location for a while now, and he always does a fantastic job of layering and shaping my hair so that it looks nice not only when I leave the salon, but as it grows in between cuts as well. I highly recommend Ficocello's (and Alex) for other curly-haired people.

If you wanna come work with a company like Ficocello's Saint Paul then be prepared for shady illegal acts and being completely abused. This place completely went downhill after Ricky died. The new owner is a snake and he can't keep more than the one stylist that flirts her way through anything.

Go to ficocellos! I have had my hair cut at so many places, and I have never found a place that knows how to cut and style curly hair. Camille was great and made sure my hair looked how I wanted it to before I left. She also gave me products/tips that I have been using since my last haircut. I finally found a great hairstylist who knows how to cut curly hair.

I hadn't been to this location but assumed they would have the same basic service however when I arrived my stylist was unaware I wanted a cut and style ( even though when I booked the appt they said that is included) and the stylist told me there wasn't enough time and I had to leave. Clearly this location isn't well managed.
