I've been going to this place since 2008. My mother use to take me here. I never knew why she suddenly change my braiding salon until recently.. I came in to get tree braid cornrows for just $65. Long story short my hair did not come out as expected and "the owner" first suggestion was to give them $40 to redo it. Now I'm spending $105 to redo my hair correctly?! I said no and another women insisted to do my hair the very next week wed at 2:30. I told her I was off Tuesday not Wednesday but she said I would be done before 6 which is the time for my shift. I arrive at 2 and time passed and now it's 5:00 still waiting to even BEGIN my hair. I ask her for my refund she tells me to wait two more hours, although I insisted on leaving at a decent time for work at 6 or come back tomorrow morning at 9 to get a refund. I'm here at 9 still with no refund and I still obviously have to wait until they are free to start my hair. My issue is time is too valueble to be wasted by people saying one this and doing another. I also believe that is is VERY rude to ignore, laugh or tell the customer to wait until your done with other customers that came in the shop after you. Some one told me you have to be nasty for them to respect you, and that mentality is ridiculous because no business will last without respect being FIRST!! These women hereare VERY unprofessional, I usually never complain but the experience I had this week I have no choice but to complain and honestly sue because I still don't have money and my hair is not done.
