Warm calm environment I definitely enjoyed my experience there. Very professional and caring. My stylist asked me questions about the products I used for my locks and also recommended products. Definitely going back in another month or so.

Let me start by saying that I drive in from NJ to get my hair done here and only here. Or shall I say moving forward. I had an event and decided to get my hair re-done at a nearby location, but it just wasnâ€™t the same. I am going to tell you right now; the extra money I pay on toll to cross into nyc (15$) at the time of this post, is worth every penny for my hair. Service is exceptional from the moment you walk until the moment you exit. No hair style is too small or too big. This establishment can do it all. If you donâ€™t believe me, just pass by and take a look for yourself before you decide. AMAZING!

The staff are so lovely And my hairstylist did an amazing job with my hair. I have super thick natural hair and went in for a wash, condition and blow-dry. Honestly they best result I have seen in a while. I am originally from England and would travel back to NYC just to come to Harlem Natural hair!

I very rarely leave reviews, but Iâ€™m not too happy with the results from my trip here. I have been looking for a good natural hair salon since moving up north and traveled quite a bit to come here based on the reviews I saw. I recently took out my braids prior to the appointment and I can admit I will need a trim soon. However, I came for a perm rod set and a deep condition and my hair has never felt drier. Knowing I am about ready for a trim, I was expecting some single strand knots at the ends. But my hair as a whole felt like straw, and that has NEVER happened to me before. Iâ€™m not sure if my hair was not agreeing with the products, but I was shocked to wake up the next day and feel how dry it felt. Also, the rod set lasted one day before turning into a frizzy mess. Especially as a student, I have to be very strategic about how and where I spend my money; I honestly regret how much I spent for the results. The only reason I am giving two stars is because the people were generally kind and it seems like a great place to go for locs. Unfortunately, I will not be recommending here for regular natural hair care.
