I've been following the stylist Queenie on instagram for the past couple of months and I admired her work. So I finally decided to bite the bullet and paid a deposit on full weave with a lace closure on 12/04/2017 for an appointment on 12/09/2017. On 12/08/2017 at 10 am I received an email to confirm my appointment's date and time. I responded back with an email back stating yes I'm keeping my appointment. Later that evening about 9:30pm, I received a text from the stylist stating "I'm not sure if I spoke to you today. Tomorrow I will not be working due to the weather." I would expect person requesting their clients to give them a 24 hour notice when cancelling or rescheduling, actually give their clients a 24 hour notice before canceling on their clients. Especially if your canceling 12 Hours prior to the appointment and not even a single snowflake had even fell at the time. I was at work, 10 hours into a 16 hour shift when I finally came across her message. About 1am I responded back to her stating "I really need my hair done for an event that evening." and "Do I get a refund on my deposit back?" I left work about 8am, it just began to snow lightly, and I never receive a response from the stylist. That same night I checked my instagram and I see the stylist who canceled on me "due to the weather" partying with her sister's for her birthday. I was super annoyed. I sent an email asking for refund and I still never received a response from the salon or stylist. Thank god I paid for the deposit on PayPal, I'm currently disputing the charge and the salon/stylist has yet to response to me or PayPal. So buyers beware of the poor customer service and unprofessionalism.
