I had my hair done here and asked for a layered style and some face framing. My stylist was pleasant and said she’d been doing hair for about 9 years so I wasn’t concerned as it was a relatively straightforwar cut. After she shampooed she suggested a “conditioning treatment” for my hair as it has been color treated in the past. I was unsure and she told me it would last 4-6 weeks and only cost $10 so I agreed thinking how much could some extra conditioner hurt? It was a huge mistake. She put me under the dryer with the “treatment” and even after my hair cut my hair felt like straw. Yes it was color treated before but it felt nice and even tho needed a trim, I was not at all concerned with its condition and had definitely experienced damaged hair before, my hair when I got there was not in a concerning state. I left with hair that felt and looked disgusting. The cut was incredibly uneven and I didn’t notice when I left as she styled my hair in curls, even tho I had stated I wore it straight. I had to go to another salon to get my cut fixed and the stylist there advised that I’d probably been given a protein treatment which, because my hair is fine was too much for it to handle that’s why it felt so disgusting. Due to my poor cut I had to have it cut to the shortest layer she’d given me and ended up losing about 4-5 inches. I was unhappy with the service and felt that it shouldn’t have been such a bad outcome, considering I wasn’t asking for anything outrageous. Ended up paying a lot for the service and a lot more to have it fixed. Its just hair at the end of the day, but I wanted to share my experience as it shouldn’t have turned out so poorly.

Shout out to Hailey & D'Andrea!!! This is not my usual ULTA store however I went to this location to get a product the NC store was possibly out of (in NC I've yet to EVER have a sales rep bother to look at their inventory list...let alone physically look in the store for product). So off to RH ULTA I go since online it says the product IS in stock. Of course it wasn't, which I'm totally used to this reoccurring issue at ULTA. What was different was this lovely sales rep named D'Andrea (sp). Wow, not only did she look it up- she looked in the display area and then went in the back to look around since the inventory list showed there were 2 left. Meanwhile while she was giving it her all to find that product...another lovely ULTA rep named Hailey, asked if she could help me in any way. Y'all, in NC, I've only been offered help once (and I go there a lot!). I already had a list but Hailey asked if she show me what she uses. I said sure and ended up LOVING what Hailey put on my face. Plus she tossed in a couple of samples of related products that I used last night & also love. I'm feeling really good about how I was treated & the products!! The NC store is really going to miss my money. Thank you ladies for everything!! ♡ ~Pam, still Kellì's mom

Great place to shop! Everyone is so happy and helpful! Love the salon in the back of the store! Who knew there was also a salon! Great stylist!

PLEASE READ! I am so impressed with this Ulta's salon. From the manager Regina, to my stylist Jess and the other stylist, Bridgett and Mary. All were ready to help in any way they could. I went in asking for the (almost) impossible- black hair to silver/grey. She wouldn't let me leave without making every effort to fix my difficult hair. I've had alot of stylist and do alot to my hair, but I know for sure, Jess will always take care of it, not just because of the quality of her work, but her dedication to making it right. I don't always do long reviews, but I highly suggest going to Ulta to get any style you want.
