She always does my dreads just how I want it very professional and always satisfied with her work I got every two weeks and it’s always good service

I'm giving 3 stars. First off the shop does a wonderful job each time my hair always last close to 3 months before I take it out. I have only been twice and I get the same style Senegalese Twist and I get them a little longer which why I have been charged $180 both times. Not complaining about the price again. So what I do have to complain about is the condition of the shop it can definitely be cleaner. Also if I come in for my appointment and I am the first client I should not be in the shop until close it does not take that long to complete my braids. Secondly, I asked the stylist to be gentle around my edges and she isn't so again not listening to what I wanted is not professional. So my recommendations for the shop is better time management, cleaner shop, and better listening skillls with your clients. Yes I will be returning though I love her braids.

Take your business elsewhere. I began coming to this salon about six months ago. Initially, the service was great. However, over the last couple of months, the service has gone down as well as the quality of work. In the past couple of months, I have begun having a terrible problem with dry scalp (dandruff) from her not cleaning her combs. The hair washing is ridiculous; I left the chair with my head still itching and had to ASK the shampooer to scratch my scalp versus washing only my locks. Upon getting my hair twisted, I was put under the dryer. I have very long and thick locks so, after an hour they were not completely dry. However, there was a client waiting to go under the dryer (only one dryer in shop) so, I was instructed to come on she would blow dry my locks although she was aware I always put my locks up in a bun. If you have locks then you know putting them up wet is the last thing you want because then they will smell. I advised her again, I was not dry and was told again she would blow them dry. Upon completion of my style, which was sloppier than normal. I handed her a $100.00. She gave me back $40.00. I looked at her and asked for the other $10.00. She claimed her charge was $60.00 although for over six months she has charged me $50.00; $40.00 for the wash and re-twist and $10.00 for the bun style. To make matters worse, she insults my intelligence by telling me she did not know what she was charging me because when I handed her the money, she always puts it in her pocket. BOLD FACE LIE. She did give me the other $10.00 however, as I was walking out the door advised it would be $60.00 next time. I didn't have the heart to tell her there would be no next time. I have no tolerance for liars or people who are unprofessional. I urge you TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE! Lastly, and most disturbing, I watched the shampooer pick a towel up from the floor that had been used to wash my hair with and use it on the following gentlemen who came in to get his locks washed and re-twisted. Utterly disgusting. Also, the place has roaches and recently has not been being as clean as it was initially. I sat and watched a roach crawling on the dryer as I was seated in the chair getting my hair twisted. Please, note I am not upset about the price increase. My new stylist charges even more than that, however, the way it was handled in addition to the remaining of the things I have expressed here should all be a matter of concern...
