I should have written this months ago, but I've been super busy and booked solid with modeling gigs since Colesha did my hair (okay, that was a lie) - but seriously, I absolutely LOVE this salon. Clean and comfortable atmosphere, super friendly staff and top-of-the-line hair magic. Their pricing really reasonable (unlike other places that pretty much make you take out a second mortgage for some highlights.) This team's expertise in hair-color chemistry is by far the best I've ever experienced. If you tell them what you want, they're going to give it to you, and then some. If you're looking for a salon that makes you look and FEEL fantastic, go ahead and book your appointment already. You won't be disappointed.

Great location with eSy parking. Got a haircut after 8 years because of horrible experiences with other stylists. Obviously my hair was a mess and Chuck performed a miracle and made me feel fantastic after a fantastic haircut. He listened to what I liked and the problems I had with my hair and my previous bad experiences with other stylists. Already made an appointment to have highlights. Thanks Chuck !!

Hands down my favorite salon!! The inside of the salon is beautiful and modern, the stylists are so friendly and the prices are very reasonable. I see Rachel for my highlights and she always does a wonderful job! I also go to Kim for my monthly Nova Lashes. Kim is so gentle I actually fell asleep my last lash setting. She is fast and they always turn out amazing! I get daily compliments about them. LOVE LOVE LOVE Oak City Salon, would not go anywhere else in Raleigh!

I have been getting my eyelashes done with Kim for over a year now. I get so many compliments on them, even my Ophthalmologist didn't know they were extensions! She is really the best. The salon is comfortable and super clean with plenty of parking. I tried one of their new stylists Phoenix for a balayage and haircut for the first time last week and she is truly phenomenal, as well. I LOVE this salon, great customer service and quality.

Would give 0 stars if possible. Went here to have a lash fill done by Kim, when I got home I realized the eyelash extensions were nothing like the ones I had before. They weren't as soft and fluffy, they were stiff, tangled and irritated my lash line. I chalked up most of it to being a fresh set but after a week of constant irritation and not being able to comb them out I reached out about my problems. Her only solution was to have me come in and for her to take a look at them or remove them. An initial set runs $250 at the salon where they were originally applied and was given to me as a wedding gift for my upcoming wedding. Being that the only "solution" in her eyes was to remove them meant that I would be stuck with no lashes and having to go back to my home town 4 hours away and pay out of pocket for something that was originally gifted to me for my wedding. I asked multiple times for a refund for the service I was given and was ignored each time about the subject in our email exchange. Since she offered to remove them one would think she would also offer to refund me for the dissatisfaction of the service. I think it's reasonable after the experience that I had not to want that person to touch my eyelashes anymore. All I asked for was a refund for a service given that I was highly dissatisfied with to cover the costs of me having to go through the process of getting a completely new set after these fall out. She showed no sympathy towards the situation she placed me in. If you are looking to get any type of service here that would typically, in most salons, make you look and feel better I would highly suggest going somewhere else so that you will get that because it will not happen here.
