Not one to post reviews, but very disappointed in the service at this parlor location. I’ve been there twice, the first time was okay and my hair turned out nice. However, my second time was not a very great experience. The receptionists were not very welcoming. My Friend and l did arrive 8 minutes late(after searching for parking for 10 minutes and having to walk in the freezing rain 5 minutes). Yes we were late and should have been more on time, but we were already stressed and they didn’t seem to care. When we got there they told us we were ten minutes late(which wasn’t true). They then said they wouldn’t be able to give us the full service. My friend and l signed up to get our hair done together, but they put us on separate ends of the room. We were hoping to have a fun time getting our hair done together. My hair turned out a mess. Had to go home and completely redo it. My friend’s hair did turn out nice. However we paid the whole price of $40 but only got half the service. Definitely would not recommend going on a Saturday. Their service seems to be very hit or miss. Not worth the $40+tip. If they are going to charge that much, they should offer a longer service. We felt like they were just trying to get our hair done as quickly as possible and move on to the next one. As they cut our appointment short at the end as well. What should have been a relaxing experience was anything but.

I have gone to the Oberlin location twice and have had great experiences. I was running really late the first time due to rush hour traffic and looking for parking as the salon is directly off Oberlin so you have to walk a little from parking. I called and the receptionist was really helpful with directions. Then I came in a little stressed. They still accepted me even though the stylist was going to have to stay past closing. They offer you a beverage with your service which was great and the stylist massaged my scalp while shampooing. It was just what I needed after a hectic work day. Both visits, the style has turned out splendid, and I have received compliments from others afterwards. I am definitely going back, and I would definitely recommend this location, just allow enough time to find parking. :)

I booked this appointment for my maternity photos. I scheduled an appointment for the Big and Full and added on a braid. The girl who helped me was very nice but I did not feel that she had much experience or really knew what she was doing. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and said I would also like more volume (reason for the Big and Full). Once she was done, there really was not much volume to my hair. There was no product used in my hair. She took her time when drying to add some waves in. When it was time for the braid, she had to ask for help and it did not turn out anything like the picture I had shown them both. The result really was just awful and not at all what I had asked for. It was so bad that I had to re-wash my hair at home and blow dry it. I was able to give my hair more volume at home than the results I received at Parlor. My hair was nothing like what I had planned for my photo session and I was late to the session because I had to re-do my hair. I am not one to complain but this really was not a good experience. There was only one other person booked while I was there so its not like anyone was overly busy. Hopefully this feedback will help from someone else's plans being ruined. I emailed Parlor but did not get any type of response. Don't waste your time or money.

This is an amazing place! Everyone is friendly and understands what I need. I come here and get my hair done for the week and it lasts! They even do updo's and party hair! Fantastic and worth the money to have your hair perfect for an event or for the week. (You don't have to worry with it!!)
