Confusion over consult date and confusion over appt date. Waited a month for consult and appt. Thought wait time for a new client lengthy for this area but ok. Then not to have your schedule correct A bit much. So nice meeting Laurie but my time is also valuable.

My hairstylist retired recently, and for the first time in over twenty years I found myself looking for someone new! A few friends of mine go to Twisted River, so I decided to give them a try. I have very thick and long hair but that was no challenge for Lauri. Lauri did highlights, toner, and cut my hair. I was nervous, but she did a great job! My husband even commented on how good my hair looked! The salon is nice and clean, and everyone was very nice. The price was also great. If you're looking for someone local to Clayton, I recommend Twisted River and Laurie!!

So so happy I switched to this salon! I always feel confident when I walk away from Kim Strickland’s chair. She does my highlights so well, I’m always complimented on my hair when I leave! We have great conversations and I really enjoy my time there with her. I also really appreciate Kim for always listening to me when I want to try something new or only want a certain amount cut off. I highly recommend her!

This is the only place I will go to get my hair done! And I only go to Kim Strickland. I had never been happy with my hair until I found Kim! She does coloring and cuts for me and each time I leave more than happy! I also just had my twin girls hair done with bayalage by Kim and they were so excited and happy with how it turned out! I like my hair with the bleached look and I’ve had other stylists throughout my years do it to my hair and it didn’t even hold a candle to what Kim can do! She does beautiful work! I get compliments all the time!

I love this place!! Kim has been doing my hair for a few years now and she has continued to always make me feel and look great! So easy to talk to and she listens to what you want. Everyone at the salon is always so nice and makes you feel welcome! Highly recommended!

I’ve been going to Kim for five years. She has cut my hair as well as my two daughters hair. My oldest daughter LOVES going to see her and she gets a complimentary Elsa braid every time! She does a great job and she is very accommodating to our crazy schedule!
