Didn't even want to give it 1 star. Seriously disappointed with this place. Rude stylists, poor ability, and appalling lack of customer service. It's not even worth the $15.50.
Today I walked in just wanting a shampoo and trim, and I asked the two girls behind the counter if there was a wait time. After asking me what I wanted, it took them about 5 minutes to tell me that they could take me right away. Instead of speaking to me, the women just spoke to one another. They were not friendly or accommodating. The stylist gestured toward her chair, not even telling/asking me to sit down as she ran off to get the styling cape (which was dirty). After telling her that I wanted 2" off and "swoop bangs," she took me back to shampoo my hair (which did not include the "head massage" that their main sign advertised). While she was washing my hair, she also complained at length about a customer who had called in for an appointment for 530 pm, and claimed she wouldn't be willing to stay past 6. When we got back to her station, she didn't ask me to clarify what I wanted, as I figured she knew what "swoop bangs" (side-swept that frames the face and gradually gets shorter as you near the forehead). 15 minutes later (during which, she barely spoke 2 sentences to me, just blathered on with her coworker), I have bangs like we all did back in middle school- basically straight across, right above my eyebrows. Needless to say, I was mortified. When I tried to explain that I wanted a little more layering/frame around my face (how swoop bangs should look), the stylist told me that if she did that, it would be like giving me a mullet! The look on my face was pretty severe at that point, and I was so tired of sitting there that I told her just to finish up and I'd get it fixed later. She finally turned on the charm, started calling me "sweetheart," complimenting my hair, and promised to fix everything. She worked to give me some layers and framing around my face, but, by then, it was too late. The damage had been done. I won't be back.
