Overall the salon is fairly clean and the staff was kind. My daughter received a wonderful pedicure and I had a full set of acrylic nails applied. After 2.5 hours I decided that I wouldn't wait any longer for her to make them look presentable. Although she was kind, she should NOT be allowed to continue to do acrylics until more training and correct materials are obtained.
The set of acrylic nails is priced over $50. After showing my nails to the front desk and expressing my concerns I was disappointed to hear that they don't typically offer discounts but I was welcome to spend MORE time allowing this girl to have another go at shaping my nails. Unfortunately I was out of time, patience and my nails had little to no acrylic left to be shaped. They were so thin they were able to be bent.
After asking if the owner would wear this set of nails I did receive a 20% discount. While better than nothing, I would have much rather had someone fix them correctly. The worst part, this young lady is the ONLY person that is there doing acrylics throughout the week.
I was so embarrassed I went home and did my best to repair the little that was there.
I know that great service is possible but I recommend staying away from acrylic.
