I work full time as well as go to school. As a result, my days are pretty packed and I rely on scheduling things. I had an appointment scheduled here for a haircut and, when I arrived, I was notified that my appointment had been cancelled because someone there had a family emergency earlier that day and had to leave and they had nobody else available due to "being really busy." This is fine, things happen, I get that. But when I asked why I had not been called to avoid an extra 10 miles of driving and taking time out of my work schedule to make it to this appointment they simply they were sorry, but they have been busy all day. It takes 30 seconds to call and let someone know. When I got there, people were chatting at the counter, so someone could have found those 30s. I don't mind them canceling the appointment so much as I mind them not notifying me and not being willing to acknowledge that it would have been polite to notify me. I can't review their service because I never experienced it. I'm sure this is not the norm for them, but it is what it is.
