If I could leave negative stars, I would. I took my 13-year-old daughter in for a haircut. She wanted a shoulder-length cut with some texture. I showed the stylist our inspiration photo and explained what we hoped to achieve. She seemed like it was no big deal. "Sure, no problem." Then proceeded to cut her hair too short, and completely hacked up the back. It's uneven, choppy, and nothing like the photo in even the simplest sense. It is absolutely awful! Also, I was not aware that Great Clips nickels and dimes you. They cut your hair dry and then boot you out of the chair without even knocking off the bits of hair from your shoulder area. They told me it would cost an extra $30 to style her hair after the cut, which was not explained to me beforehand nor was mentioned when our inspiration pic had basic styling. (I did not see a price board until after the cut had been done. It's a small board in a non-obvious location.) I assumed they would let her leave looking presentable, but not the case. This is a Great Clips in general gripe, and not specific to the Bethany location, but it would've been nice to know that they do absolutely NOTHING other than cut the hair (dry) unless you pay extra. My daughter's hair is now ruined, and we have to spend more money to take her somewhere else with hopes it can be remedied. If Great Clips stylists aren't capable of achieving a cut/style, they should be honest about it before attempting, and ruining, a child's hair.

It's a hit and miss. There are several really good barbers at this location, like Julia, and i don't remember other names. I really avoid going to anyone else at this location, cause i had so bad experiences in the past. Last time I did a haircut, I took a chance with a new lady who had 0 experience with man haircuts, granted she was honest and in the middle of it she had to ask for help from another barber, who finished my haircut, she was the top notch. I wish their website could book a specific stylist.

Vicky, the manager of Bethany Village Great Clips was EXTERMENLY RUDE to me and others. I always have Vicky cut my hair because she cuts it well. I was so surprised when, she was terribly rude to two different Indian men who came in the shop. She cut both of them off and said to one, in a very rude voice, " Your name is what I need, nothing else". You would have to have been there to hear her tone, to understand. She said something snide to the other one too, but I don't remember it enough to write it. But then after the haircut, when she asked me to check it out, I asked her to fix a place, and she got snippy and said, "I dont need you checking out and critiquing my haircut?" Nevermind that is is MY hair and MY haircut, not hers. She was snotty and loud enough to be heard by several customers. I told her it is her job to cut my hair to my liking, after which she accused me of yelling, which I was not. I was talking no louder than she. Then she accused me, by name, of having a history of being rude to all her stylist. So apparently they have talked about me behind my back and flagged me as a rude customer. The unique thing about me is I am particular, but never rude. So I said to her that I have never been rude unless you consider it to be rude for me to check the haircut quality afterward, and she said YES. So her definition of rude is asking her to do her job, and asking her or her cutters to rework a part to my satisfaction, and doing so in normal tones, without insults or insinuation or any kind of demeaning behavior. I will not ever go back to that franchise, and I might never go back to Great clips if I am flagged in your computer unfairly as a rude customer. She has never been this way before, so maybe she was having a bad day, but that is no excuse to treat me and 2 others with such animosity.

Terrible service. Went for a haircut for 3 of us and the two Asian ladies doing the haircut seemed to be competing against each other rather than asking/listening to the customer needs. Rude!
