Susan is amazing at cutting curly hair! This salon is professional and chic the moment you walk in. Let me start out saying I have very curly hair and I was wanting a hair cut but scared to let someone who didn't understand curls touch my hair. Anyone with curly hair has had that story of the one time they went into a salon and came out looking like a poodle. So needless to say I was nerves. I went into Pulse as a walk in, expecting to just talk to a stylist about how I wanted my hair cut. Susan greeted me and made me feel very comfortable, she took me to her chair and said all the right things about curly hair. I knew she knew what she was talking about and she fit me in her schedule right then and there. I walked away with the best hair cut I have ever had and now I know who I can trust :) Great salon, great people, great atmosphere, and awesome products.

Nicky was able to take me on short notice I had my haircut at a "top" salon in Vancouver BC. Hate hate hated my haircut. She was awesome. Fixed me up and I danced down the street with the cutest hair ever. May have to come back to Portland for my hair care.

I love this salon! I've been there twice and will keep going to see Andrea for my cut and highlights. First of all, she is really good at her job, very fast and the result is amazing. Andrea came up with this great combo or colors that look awesome with my skin tone. She also recommended some really good hair products that work awesome on my hair. Overall- great experience, I highly recommend this salon!

They are FANTASTIC at what they do. Great colour and cut, but what really makes it a great experience is the way they treat their customers, from the moment you walk in the door they treat you like a friend. It's a posh place but they aren't pretentious. Top notch.
