This is a great family place owned by heritage Italian-Americans, so they really know how to work with all sorts of caucasian hair types. That means many of the hair dressers have smooth hair, wavy hair, thick hair, and extreme curls. All are welcome here, but sometimes they have tight schedules, especially Trina who is one of the most experienced hair dressers at this location. They charge reasonably for a great job - and they're definitely worth a good tip. Pro tip: Strike up a conversation, and the appointment will last longer, but it's worth the attention and care you get to yourself as a person and your hair too! Every time we chat, they do a better job than usual haha

I have gotten my nails and hair done here for years and it is the most relaxing. The prices work with my budget and I never get charged you half for a service that I was unable to receive (due to death in family) as, has happened with another salon in this area. I love that it is a full service salon, and right next door is a tanning salon boutique... it works out great!

As soon as i walked i fet unwelcomed by the staff. They were not happy to have a girl walk in their hair salon with curly hair that hadnt gone through the chemical process of relaxing. They also were not happy that i would refuse to go through such a process. I always thoght that the costomer was always right and if i just wanted my hair to be thinned, i would expect that they would. But they wouldnt because they thought that relaxing my hair would be the best choice. And the worst part was the way they were accusing me of not taking care of my hair and insulting my mother for not doing a better job. And all of the critisium! It wasnt very professional at all. They also were telling me that i cant handle my hair and i wasnt taking care of it. I thought that by chemically making my hair easier to work with damaged my hair. But they said nothing bad would happen. How stupid do they think i am. I know that no matter what you do to your hair that their would be some sort of effect. I know that to style my hair at all you have to have a little bit of conditioner in it and you cant brush it out all the way or dry it all the way because it would get puffy. but did they ask any of that. No! They basically told me that i couldnt handle my hair even though I know my hair better than them. They may be hair experts, but im an expert on my own hair. All in all, i would ony recomend this place to my enimies.
