I had my hair cut and colored by Bobby yesterday and I am floored by his beautiful work. Bobby took time to consult with me about what I wanted and he more than delivered. Before we began he offered helpful advice about what style and color would suit me -- something which other stylists are often reticent to do. His instincts were spot on and he spoke to me in a way that was so helpful and collaborative. Really important to find a stylist who can communicate! Anyway, now I have a fresh, modern bob, in a champagne blonde, a look that I'd been wanting for so long. He has truly mastered his craft! The results are to die for! Seriously, I'm beaming from ear to ear looking at this cut and color. The rest of the staff is warm and welcoming and the vibe is so positive. Lovely environment and overall an A+ experience. On a side note, it *is* really hard to get an appointment as a new client -- but just hang in there and keep trying. The wait is worth it!

Hands down the best salon in Philly, and frankly I'd argue that it exceeds the quality of any salon I've been to in the cities I've lived. Though I am loyal to some of my old stylists, this studio is rare in the fact that every single stylist there is completely dedicated to their craft and extremely good at it. You can tell that they are a team, and work together to provide the best service and styles possible. As a whole, they understand hair in a way that always amazes me.

Simply put, first rate all around. It is clear that everyone is talented, passionate, and take pride in their work, which they should because I have never seen anything other than truly excellent hair produced from the salon. Well worth the wait for new clients. My hair has never looked or felt better. Definitely recommend. Also, the interior is beautiful. I especially love the work stations, exposed brick, and real plants. A really lovely spot and thoughtfully designed.

I just went to bobby mack’s For the first time and it was amazing! My hair is the nicest color it’s ever been, so natural and exactly what I asked for, my stylist steph was amazing, she’s highly recommended! And after a long day at the salon, Eric the apprentice was so funny and curled my hair quickly because he knew I was tired and ready to go home and still managed to make me laugh and make me look beautiful great service, great business!!

Was initially on the waitlist and ended up getting an appointment soon after! Definitely don’t be discouraged, appointments open up and it’s well worth the wait. Erin did my balayage and Casey styled my hair and it came out beautiful! Everyone that works at Bobby Mack is so kind and professional; looking forward to my next appointment.
