Mackenzie is very honest, detail oriented and helpful, not to mention great at what she does! The salon waiting area is cozy and the assistant Lauren is super welcoming and helpful. I have crazy curly hair and came in with a bad haircut. Think mullet. Mackenzie gave me a great inbetween haircut, and it was actually one of the best curly hair cuts I've had! Gave me volume, my curls fell great, and it grew faster than usual! Cant wait for my next cut!

As always, Mackenzie gave me a stupendous hairdo. I love my Louise Brooks bob. As a neighbor remarked, "You don't want to put a hat on that!" Mackenzie took such care to bring my hairdo to perfection. First, she cut and styled, then colored in dark grey and silver tones into my almost white hair, making me look at least ten years younger. Next, she washed, cut, and styled, and not completely satisfied, put in more color, washed, cut, and styled again! All this for a very reasonable fee. Mackenzie is an artist. Each time we touch base on what we want, then I just put myself into her hands, and each time, she outdoes herself. What a gift!

Once again, my hair has been blessed by Kia's hands! Every time I come to to the salon, I leave super satisfied with the result. Kia is well versed in hair care (even educating me on how to take care of my hair at home) and her technique is phenomenal. Even though I live several states away, every time I visit Philly, I make an appointment. I'm truly living the Kia Sterling lifestyle.

I've been going to Mackenzie for about ten years now. She's given me a wide variety of colors and cuts and I've loved every one of them. If I come in with specific ideas, she's excited to work with what I've got—and when I just need a change, she rises to the occasion with some new style I didn't even know I wanted. She pays attention to my hair's many little quirks and is great at coaxing it into flattering, low-maintenance styles that grow out beautifully (I am not a trim-every-six-weeks kind of gal and she gets that). The Artist Haus is a cool and comfortable space where I've spent many afternoons enjoying the company of Mackenzie, her super talented, diverse and friendly team, and my fellow clients. They style all kinds of people with all textures of hair with warmth, humor and professionalism. You won't be disappointed!

I absolutely love the Artist Haus! I'm really glad to be able to spread the word about them. It's been such a great experience each time I've been there, from getting a cup of coffee the minute I walk in to chatting with the stylists before I leave. I have a ton of hair and it's usually a long process to style and blow out, but they always set aside as much time as they need to get it perfect; I never feel rushed or pushed out the door. The staff are all friendly and I feel at ease any time I'm there. I also trust Mackenzie with my hair style, which after a few bad haircuts growing up, is no small matter. She helped me find a style that works for me every day, not just as I walk out the door. She's also given me a ton of tips on how to take care of my hair that have made a huge difference! Since I've lived in the neighborhood, I've seen the people that go in and out-- they do really great work with all different styles of clientele. Finally, the studio itself is always clean and so cute-- it's really a relaxing experience to go here. Looking forward to my next visit!
