I had locks many years ago and the owner took very good care of my locks. I cut the off 5 years ago. However I would recommend anyone to Back To Basics. Handle your craft and gift Tasha.

My mother has been going to the owner of the shop for years and I have been going there since 2004. All of the employees are so friendly and nice. There is a family atmosphere at the shop, and itâ€™s always a pleasure to go. There abilities to perform what almost seems like magic when it comes to natural hair. They are amazing when it come to the basics two strand twist to the more difficult dying locks in tri colors. The stylists have amazing skills and create a wonderful atmosphere that you just wonâ€™t want to leave!

I've been getting my hair done here since 2007 and I love them! I had locs down my back when I started and they did a great job of keeping them clean and conditioned and also doing creative styles. I cut them off two years ago and Tasha has continued giving me great styles from about an inch of hair to much longer now. Tasha, Ty, Jamila and Russell are all great at doing a variety of things: locs, cornrows, wet and dry twists, twist outs, kinky twists, kids, and I think Russ and some others do weave too. They have taken great care of my hair over the years. I

The shop is VERY unprofessional. I walked in and was not serviced immediately, which is ok when people are busy, but to stand around and just gossip does not fly with me. I did not leave until 3 hrs after I arrived. The stylist that did my hair told me that I should restart my locs because they are too thin when the place I got them started as a reputable reputation for locs. She also left me sitting in the chair to run to the door to make fun of some women in the streets while the other woman in the shop gossiped about one of their customers. I'll never go there again and it sucks, because they are close to home, but que sera sera.
