After seeing the salon's booth and a natural hair show I had high expectations that this place could handle my 4c hair. So I made an appointment on 9/30/17, for a wash, blow out and trim, to be braided so I could wear wig as my protective style. I walked through the front door and should of saved my time and money by immediately walking out. When i walked in i was not greeted and the beauticians looked... well like they had other places to be. The shop floor was dirty ( hair, dirt, etc) along with clutter on the shelves behind the desk. To top it off there was a large mouse trap across from my stylist chair. My stylist did not add any heat protectant or even a leave in conditioner when prepping my hair to get blown out - my 1st indication she did not know what to do. Then she used a paddle brush and started trying my hair starting at the ROOTS!!! So of course my ends were dry and tangled when she was "done" . I asked how she was going to trim my ends evenly with them being so curly and she got an attitude. Said that's as straight as she could get them because they needed a trim so bad. I just blew my hair out the week before and did a better job sooo no honey u just do not know how to blow out my hair. I decided I was not letting her cut my tresses and another stylist braided my hair. Lesson of the day - Ladies protect your hair and make sure your stylist knows how to do your type hair BEFORE u start. If they cant tell you or get an attitude... run!
