A great salon and a great group of ladies! Elizabeth was my hair stylist and she did such a great job! My hair is super kinky and she actually managed to calm it down lol! Without much heat I really give them that! They have really professional people! Also the decoration is really nice and the place is always clean! I would recommend this place!

I went there to get my kinky hair blown out. The person who “greeted” had my identical dark skin color. She told me “to go to the black people.” Hand to God! I just said OK and left. I do not have the wrong salon. I live 3 blocks away from you. She told me that my hair was too short and to go to the Black people. I was both hurt and angry at the same time so I said OK and left.

I would not recommend this place.I have 4c thick hair and the first stylist refused to work on my hair.Another stylist did but talked about my hair thinking i did not understand what they were saying.If any of the management reads this review. I want you to know that never treat people that way just because they look different from you. Guess what?I found someone who genuinely wants to do my hair.And she will be getting the big tip😉

I went the Jalena's a week ago and Africa was my stylist. She washed it, blew it out and flat ironed it and I had hair. She informed to not give myself the boxed perms and come back to her every two weeks. My hair was pass my shoulderz, soft, good smelling and so bouncy with little heat used.
