I had an appointment scheduled with Samantha at 11. I came in 15 mins before my appointment, it was busy but when their phone had rang they answered it but when about their business afterwards. I didn’t get recognized until 10:52. The lady who checked me in told me that Samantha who I was scheduled with to do the consultation said she was just about to finish up. It’s past 20 mins after my scheduled time, so I stand up and continue to wait and look at their products. The lady who checked me in the first time ends up asking me “Who did you schedule it with and did I have a specific person?” I said “No, the person who scheduled just slotted me with her since her schedule was open.” The lady then tells me that “while you walked away she helped another client”. I didn’t understand because I had walked away for about a minute, 2 or even maybe 3. During the couple of minutes why didn’t she call me on my phone to at least look for me or say she was available? What I thought would be quick and easy was not. The lady was nice enough to say I can help you with a consultation while I’m waiting on my clients hair.

I have hair past my waist and I went in for a trim, it was so completely uneven. I’ll never go there again.

Expert Stylist, Carol M. can work miracles! She has for me on more than one occasion. The staff is very friendly and considerate. They stay up to date on all the trends in the hair styles and colors. I highly recommend JC Penney's Hair Salon (& Carol M.) to everyone. They'll even cut & style a gentleman's hair.

I wish I could post pictures of the hack job the lady did on my son's hair! It was HORRIBLE. I want to believe not everyone there is as bad at giving a haircut as she was, but we will NEVER go back to find out.
