I would not recommend this location for men. The business is very clean, and quaint. The staff was very kind, including my hair stylist heather. The conversation was pleasant. However I asked for a pretty simple men’s haircut, a fade on the sides with a hard part and did not receive it. The pace was a crawl, after thirty minutes of kind conversation I’d basically received a trim. I had to ask a few times for corrections to be done which has never been the case in my past. After 45 minutes, dissatisfied I was done and just said it looks great thanks. I bought a men’s styling clay up front thinking I could salvage the look for the day, “uppercut clay” it’s the worst purchase I’ve made this year. It’s hard as a rock to the touch. Though these people are kind, Id prefer to pay for results. I’ll have to go to another barber this week to fix the damage. I don’t care if they curse at me the entire time as long as I get a decent haircut…

Walked in for a beard trim, multiple employees available, nobody wanted to do it most of them seemed kind of spaced out… almost walked out and should have… And then in the end was just terrible—I could get a better beard trim at great clips or sports clips for cheaper. No effort went into it, and they didn’t even have any product to apply or try to upsell me even though I asked. Waste of time and money.

I went in for a walk-in visit around 3pm, was greeted and didn't have to wait long. The atmosphere was very clean and elegant. All of the staff were taking precautions, wearing masks, super professional and friendly. My stylist was Kim and she was a delight! Super friendly, bubbly personality and most importantly, she knew how to cut hair! I am very picky with my hair style, I'm not sure if its years of experience or if it was raw talent but Kim seemed know exactly what I wanted. I believe I found my new stylist! I just hope that she sticks around because its so hard to find a stylist that knows how to cut my hair. Definitely will be back, 5/5 stars! -Isaac

Just got my haircut at Heads Up because I needed a cut with layers badly, but needed it to be somewhat affordable. Candy did a wonderful job with my flat, straight, heavy hair. It’s just the refresher I needed for the spring. Reasonably priced at $26 too. I’ll definitely be coming back to see Candy!
