Would not recommend. Florence was quick, but very painful. Additionally, she refused to do my hair in the style that I requested and argued with me about her preferences. Definitely not worth the headache (literally and figuratively).

I have been getting my hair braided by Africans for years. I am African American, dated Nigerans and grew up having very close African friends. Hell, i love me some FUFU BUT I am so displeased by my visit. I just moved here from Maryland and only one other time have I ever been upset with a salon's customer service. Even with that one time, I still liked the way they did hair. This time on the other hand, the stylist was sloppy and the other stylist had a very rude mouth. I can't believe I drove 30 minutes out here for that type of treatment. I won't be coming back. And if you are looking for professionalism and talent, you won't be finding it here. My hair is not a problem and they made it so. My hair is thick and full and CLEAN! I washed it before coming. I have a relaxer in it and I haven't put one in for awhile but that shouldn't be a reason why you can't do a good job. I wanted goddess braids along with feedins. And they couldn't even do that without trying to make me feel as though I WAS THE PROBLEM! Disgusting! I will be generous enough to rate one star because I had to keep rescheduling my appointment that day due to several inconveniences at home that happened out of my control. I always stay professional so I called and apologized to reschedule. People need to be mindful of how they do business especially when it comes to hair.

This is the worst braiding shop in Nashville I have ever been to. FIRST, soon as you sit down and you tell them what you want they ask you to pay up front all of the money. Then the energy changes. I asked for box braids and left with bigger sized micro braids and they do not add hair as they braid so your braids will be thin going towards the end. FLORENCE is like the muscle of the operation and she literally just sits there and debate with paying customers on how they want their hair !!!! The lady braiding my hair kept grabbing my head towards her to make her braiding space more comfortable. I told that lady if she grab my head one more time it was going to be a problem. Florence started going off on me and I had to pull out my cellphone to record her theatrics saying I feel threatened .. She said "I dont care if you call the police or make a bad review on google"...WORST PLACE OF BUSINESS I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED!!!

Ms.Florence took me at the last minute and kept me laughing the entire time. She is wonderful and professional. My Senegalese twists are nicer, smaller, and more comfortable than I've ever had them. I will definitely be back!
