I recently started going to the Standard Salon. The Standard is located in downtown Austin, which I try to avoid due to parking and parking fees, but once I discovered that they offered free garage parking for their clients I figured it was time to give them a try. I have been to the Standard Salon a few times and I must say that Heather Terry is not only a professional hair stylist, she is also a savvy business owner. Her goal is to make everyone feel at home and it shows. My last visit was with Leah Hollenbeck and the overall experience was great. Even though I was new to her, she made me feel welcomed and I could tell that she wanted my first experience to be special. She asked me what I wanted, but after discussing it with her I trusted her enough to just do what she thought was best (a man, a big head, go for it!) and it totally worked. I am definitely going back to Leah and the Standard Salon for sure. My visits have been so great that I felt I needed to share it with others.

Heather was very professional and is a great stylist. As someone who is new to the area, she was very friendly and helpful. The salon was clean and well kept. Highly recommend!

Heather Terry is an expert in Schwarzkopf hair color! Her haircuts are perfect! When I moved from CA to Austin, I looked for a salon that used Schwarzkopf products. When I read that Heather was a specialist with this brand, I made my first appointment. Not only did she match my CA hair color and cut my hair exactly as I had described, but she is also SO positive and upbeat. She brings sunshine to each visit. I am very grateful to have found her. Heather’s amazing at men’s haircuts. I came in a few months ago and her energy is electric and she left me looking good at an affordable price. Can’t suggest her and The Standard enough.

Heather is absolutely amazing! My hair has never been healthier. Constant compliments on my color and cut. I trust her 100% with my locks. Awesome location and service. You'll love The Standard!
