I struggled with going to normal hair salons since I have Asian textured hair which can be difficult to blend and it would end up looking choppy when I got layers but at Windy’s that’s never been an issue! They understand my hair texture and it always looks well blended. They are fast and efficient but the quality of the haircut is still good. I paid ~$50 +tip for a 3in layered haircut which I think is fair. They are my go to Asian hair salon in Austin and the ladies are all very nice.

I absolutely love my new haircut from Windy Hair Salon. The owner and award winning hair artist was just what I wanted. She took note of the style I was aiming for and made it even cuter than any pictures I showed her. I have very thick hair and she thinned it out which is exactly what I wanted and needed. She textured it perfectly and then she styled it for me in the salon. She was wonderful in every aspect and she's affordable compared to other salons in Austin! I have finally found my go-to hair salon artist who I guarantee I will be visiting for all of my hair needs. Thank you so much!!❤️

Love my new haircut! Just bring the stylist a picture of style you want and she'll make your hair perfect! Think they are underpriced for their service.

I got my perm done here and it was fantastic! They were able to get me exactly what I wanted based on the reference photos I showed them. I’ll definitely get my perm redone here next time I visit. :)

I won't be returning to this salon for several reasons. Firstly, I found their conduct unprofessional and dishonest. I had medium-length hair and had requested only a simple trim, which I repeatedly emphasized before and during my appointment. Despite this, the owner charged me $15 more than the advertised price, stating that had I inquired beforehand, she would have informed me. I found her response both sneaky and unprofessional. Additionally, if you're not fluent in Korean, communication with the hairstylist might be challenging. Effective communication is crucial for understanding a client's needs and ensuring satisfactory results.
