Daneka is an amazing stylist. She is the person to go to if you’re struggling to take care of your natural hair! She is fun and professional. She explained what products she used and answered all my questions. I got my hair pressed and it was so straight. I was very happy with the results. My hair is damaged from coloring, and I really needed someone to help me bring it back to life. The products she used worked wonderfully. I saw and felt the difference after the shampoo and deep conditioning. I went ahead and bought some of the products and I love them! I can tell they are helping my hair become healthy again. After a month of using these products, my hair is softer and easier to manage. I can see my curl pattern coming back because they keep my hair moisturized. I think they are reasonably priced for how well they work. I’m so glad I came here. I won’t be going anywhere else for a long time.

The place is clean, that's for sure, Danika is good also. My problem is I was quoted a price and after the job was done the price changed.

Daneka is a true professional! She explains the products she is using and makes sure her clients understands what to expect at their appointment. And her scalp massages will put you to sleep! She is the queen of braids and crochet but I like that she offers all services too for clients whose hair are relaxed or natural. I also like the ease of being able to book appointments online.

So I was going through something with both myself and my hair and my regular stylist was unavailable. I stumbled on Nu Roots Beauty Studio and met Daneka and let me just say she gave me life! I can not say enough about the professionalism from the greeting at the door to the outstanding shampoo experience! I gave her all of my complaints and wishes and Ms. Daneka assured me we could work through them all! My hair looks and feels fantastic, and I'm so grateful to have been in her capable hands. She really is worth MY weight in gold!
