I always get my services in the east side and I'm never disappointed. However, I made the drive to the west side to meet a friend. I have to say, it wasn't worth the drive. Although the facial was great, it was masked by the fact that I could hear people talking in the hallway. I could hear the housekeeper's mop hitting the door in the room I was in. I could hear her pulling her cart and making noise. Not only that, but there was nowhere to sit except outside in the patio and jacuzzi. The facility felt too small and enclosed. I was disappointed. It wasn't relaxing at all. I will not be getting my services there in the future.

Diane did such a great job cutting my hair like I wanted. I definitely will be back to her. Love my hair cut

I was in from out of town, needed a haircut but usually beauty salons are closed on Monday's. My friend suggested Barragans, I called and to my delight they were open and were able to pencil me in , the hair stylist was Gracie and she was great, a real delight, got a shampoo, cut and style for 40$ , well worth it, plus the conversation with her was refreshing, I felt like I had known her, like a friend. I will definitely go back with her next time I'm in El Paso.

Made an appointment to get my acrylics fixed after another place ruined them. Went in for my appointment, and they claimed my appointment was the day before. Then they made me sit and wait for a nail tech for an hour before I got fed up and walked out. Went to Nikkis nails down Mesa instead. Loads cheaper and my nails looked amazing.

A Horrible and Humiliating Experience! 1st Appointment was for a hair updo. I showed the lady (M) the pic of the updo I wanted. She did something more like '90's style updo, when I brought it to her attention she worked on it and on all the sections I pointed out to her to make it look more modern and more like in the picture. It was not exactly like it, but it was ok and I was good with it and with her effort. 2nd Appointment was for Makeup. What a mistake!!!! I showed the young lady (A) the picture of the makeup I wanted. She starts working and working on it. I finally look at myself in the mirror (I have super poor vision and thus need to put glasses on or get super close to the mirror). I tell her it does not look like in the picture and that I am not content with it. She starts to work on it more. I look at it again and no much progress has been done in trying to make it more like the picture instead of a bad '80's style. Then she asks for the assistance of another young lady, who takes over because A had another client. Second lady tries to erase, and do, and fix, and add, and works on the make up to make it look like the picture- to no avail. When I look at the mirror I had huge dark eye shadow circles almost touching my eyebrows, with long eyeliner lines that were also close to touching my brows. I point this out to her and she starts erasing, adding, retouching, cleaning, who knows what. I look at myself in the mirror and I still had no bottom eyeliner or mascara, or blush, or lipstick when she (after 2.5 hours with her) finally asks: "do you want me to finish it or do you want to go?". I told her I was not content with the outcome, that it did not look like the picture, and that I needed to go. So after wasting a total of 3.5 hours at their salon for both appointments, I walked out. I went to check out where I was charged for both the hair and the makeup. I told the unpleasant receptionist that my make up was not completed, that whatever they had done was not to my liking nor did it remotely looked like the picture and I showed her the picture of what I had asked for. She left and came back stating that: "IF I DID NOT WANT TO PAY FOR THE MAKEUP, I NEEDED TO CLEAN MY FACE OFF BEFORE LEAVING THE SALON!!!!" AND SHE HANDED ME TWO MAKEUP WIPES!!! ALL THIS IN FRONT OF ALL THE PUBLIC IN THE LOBBY AREA!!!!! Upset and Humiliated, I proceeded to clean my makeup (I had to clean it anyhow since it was so ugly!), and asked for the manager, who confirmed that "IT WAS THE OWNERS' POLICY THAT A CLIENT NEEDED TO WASH THEIR FACE IF THEY DID NOT LIKE AND DID NOT WANT TO PAY FOR THE MAKE UP". I asked her if it seemed reasonable for them to humiliate their clients in such a manner? Why wasn't I given this choice or information before? I explained to her that I had wasted 3.5 hours at their salon only to walk out humiliated and no make up, and in a hurry to go home do my makeup and my nails myself. She offered to paint my nails in order to end things in a better way. I told her I was so humiliated, angry and upset that I could not stay one minute longer. Then I left to never return. Horrible, Horrible, Horrible experience. I am attaching a picture of the make up I had asked for, the one I got and the one I did myself.
