I made an appointment here based on a referral. When I initially called the woman who made my appointment was not courteous and extremely short with me. I made an appointment for myself to get a trim and for my son to also get his first haircut, and I specifically requested Audrey as that was who had been recommended. On the day of our appointments, I was very excited and we arrived 15 minutes early - it had been almost a year since my last haircut and my son would only have one first haircut (I even had an envelope ready to place his first curl in). Plus we had two family events the following day, so I was looking forward to getting fixed up. Unfortunately I was the only one at this establishment who seemed excited about our haircuts. No one greeted us when we arrived so I walked up to the desk, said hello, and was going to ask if I needed to check in but the stylist next to the desk interrupted me and advised someone else would be with me. I sat down and waited a couple minutes before another woman checked with me and I let her know that I had an 11 a.m. appointment with Audrey. It turns out that the stylist next to the desk was Audrey and now that she knew I was her appointment the first thing she did was ask if I requested her or if someone else could see us because she was working on two other clients. I don't understand why someone who knew they had a client coming at 11 that they wouldn't actually get to until 11:20 would not call the client and let them know. The person I booked the appointment with asked me for my number, so it should have been available. The combination of the lack of courtesy and pushing us off on another stylist made me feel like Audrey did not want to do our hair. I gathered our things and let them know that we would not be needing their services that day or any other day and that I felt the entire experience from booking the appointment to us leaving was extremely unprofessional. My son and I will be going to The Bees Knees over on Camp Bowie for our haircuts. They are a little more expensive but extremely professional, courteous, and they cut damn good hair.

I have taken both of my children here twice. Every time I have had an excellent experience with at least three different stylists. I thought their work was precise and consistent. Since I ended up with a different stylist each time I expected the cuts to be somewhat different. I was pleasantly surprised that they were all great. My four year old daughter gets an a line bob layered and my six year old gets a cleaned up little boy cut with just enough on top to spike up. Again, great experience, good cuts and great values.

I always love going to elite cuts . Faith always takes her time to do your hair right and never gets annoyed by overly picky customers. She is very patient. She knows what questions to ask to get you the style you need.
