The first time I came here, I had checked in online before hand. Once I got there, the employee named KENNETH acknowledged me and told me to take a seat. After waiting and seeing I was being passed up by several customers who were either walk-ins or checked in later than me, I finally asked when it would be my turn. He had forgotten about me and finally assigned me to a different hair stylist (most likely purposely dodging to have to cut my hair). Needless to say, I always try to give businesses a second chance and the benefit of the doubt that maybe it just wasn't their day that day.
Fast forward a few months later, I returned for a haircut. Just as my luck would have, I was assigned to KENNETH. I showed him a photo and explained to him in detail what I was wanting. He spent at least an hour on my haircut which usually would take 20 minutes elsewhere. Moreover, it was cut unevenly and choppy - not even close to what the photo had looked like and what I had described. I ask him to fix some parts. Though he tried, I suspect he didn't want to admit that he did not the skills and experience to cut my hair, and just winged it. Just WAIT, it gets WORSE.
I believe in tipping, so I leave a 15-20% tip regardless of my disappointing experience. Today I checked my credit card statement to notice he had given himself a 45% TIP instead !! Changing the tip amount is FINANCIAL FRAUD, Mr. KENNETH.
I hope readers will heed my disastrous experience as a warning to save themselves a butchered haircut and fraudulent activity charged to their credit card. For now I've got my credit card company looking into this. Next will be their corporate office.
