I went to this place back on April, got a beautiful hair cut with Heather. I donated all my hair, went from a very long hair style to short modern one. She offered me to send my hair by herself and I agreed. She said I was going to received a letter in my mail, from the place where she was sending my hair, and they where going to let me know if it was accepted or not. I waited a lot, called this salon 3 times and they didn’t give me any response. I went for another haircut with the same lady again in June, this time I didn’t love it as much as the first one. I still have not received anything regarding the hair I donated. I wonder what happened with it and honestly where did she sent it. It has been 5 months already.

My daughter and I had been going to Visible Changes at First Colony Mall for over a year to get our hair colored and were always happy. We had an appt. a couple of days before my son's wedding which was out of state and the person who colors our hair colored mine pink and my daughter's looked like someone spray painted a coal black bowl on her head and then it was a horrible BRIGHT RED all the way down. We both have brown hair. We called Zena Salon and they took us immediately and fixed our hair and it was absolutely beautiful!!! Every person working there was so helpful and concerned. Thank you Zena Salons for saving the day!!

Rachel was my colorist and she did an awesome job covering my grey and getting my hair back to it's natural color. She was very accommodating, courteous and professional. The salon was clean with rustic decor, I felt right at home, down to the small mason jars used for water...I will be back!

I went to Zenas salon to have my updo done for my bridal portraits and I can't say anything more than I am so glad my vail covered my hair the entire photoshoot. First I had issues with the appt time, which they fixed (they had me down an hour and a half before my actual appt). When I called to make the appt I explained to her I want a low-do very simple nothing hard or extravagant. She then told me "ok updos are $60". I've had plenty of updos before that sounded about right. When I got there I get in the chair and the girl who did my hair, Rachel, very nice girl btw, told me ok since your hair is curly it's going to be $75 for the updo and $30 to blow dry your hair. That's $105 for an updo, which I have never in my life heard of. Usually, at every other salon I've gone to it's $60-85 for an updo everything included depending on the difficulty of the updo. I was like ok whatever I have no choice at this point but the girl on the phone told me $60 for something as simple as I want. After they saw how frustrated I was they ended up honoring it. Needless to say I am so glad I didn't pay $105 for the updo I got.... it was terrible. I don't know if it was on purpose because I was upset or they just aren't good at updos. After she was done I looked in the mirror couldn't really see how it looked so I left, assuming my hair looked good since she said she had been doing hair for 20 years. $75 dollars later (including tip) this is the updo I got, FOR MY BRIDAL SHOOT. I showed her EXACTLY what I wanted. I don't think I'll ever be going back here.
