I found Abby through my coworker who was going to see her. I've been getting my hair cut and colored by Abby for over 4 years now. And then we told our other coworker, and then our other, and then she told her mom....and they all go to Abby too now. Basically, once you go, you'll be so glad you did!
Her location isn't super convenient to me, but she is 100% worth it. I think that speaks volumes to how much I like her hair services! I have stubborn and resistant grays, and I always leave looking fabulous. Here are my reasons for why I think she's the best:
1. Reasonably priced hair cuts and color AND they look awesome. My color always looks great (brunette) and NEVER looks brassy or off color. I can't tell you how many other stylists gave me a brassy look. I never have hot roots.
2. Don't be fooled. Her shop may be off the beaten path, but inside it is cute, quaint, and always clean. It's QUIET because she is the owner of her shop and the *only* stylist. She handles your hair from start to finish. There are no products to buy. No annoying salespeople trying to push services on you or anything. It's always just straightforward and easy.
3. Her personality. Being with Abby is like being with a friend. She's bubbly. She's hilarious. My stomach usually hurts from laughing so hard at her place.
4. The chocolate stash. Yeah. She has candy and water and tea. It's a nice perk :)
I'd also like to add that I took my two year old daughter to see Abby for her very first haircut. My daughter is very fearful of people and noises. Abby was SO SWEET and kind! She was soft spoken and approached my daughter in a very friendly way. She engaged her before even touching her hair. My daughter was able to sit in my lap. She gave my daughter a "dry cut" (no washing it), which was SOOO Much better. Also, no sounds of hair dryers to scare her. When she finished the cut, my daughter had a big smile, and Abby asked if she wanted an Elsa braid. Of course my daughter said yes. My daughter was OBSESSED and now she asks to go back to see Abby all the time!! I was so happy her first hair cut was not a traumatic experience like it is for so many other kids!
