Nightmare!!! From the moment I stepped in, to the moment I walked out. First, I made an appointment earlier in the week for 9am Sat with the owner, Gonzo, for a color and cut. So when I arrived Sat morning one of the young ladies walked up to me...not Gonzo...to tell me she would color my hair...even though I had an appointment with Gonzo (the only color specialist there). He never once approached mr or spoke to me until the end when I asked to speak to him...bad business! Well about the color by Yulliana or "Yuli"; it was the worst hair experience ever. This is why: combing wet hair with a paddle brush while blow drying (completely damaging my hair). I was freaking out. When she stopped the blow dryer (after burning my neck a few times) I saw my hair in tangles. I tried combing them out with my fingers and she saw that and grabbed the paddle brush again and started yanking at my hair damaging my hair further. I honestly could not believe what was happening. I kept looking around to see if the owner or anyone else would tell her she was doing a bad job. Long story short I refused to get my hair cut by anyone in that shop and left with huge black hair color marks on my forehead (owner said it was because I had baby hair that needed to be colored...riiight) and my hair was stiff, sticky, and clearly damaged. I have long straight dark hair and they ruined it. On top of that they charged me $85 plus $2 for paying with a credit card. Please please please do not go there if you like your hair!! Side note...same girl cut my nephews hair..same thing. Jacked it up. I didnt' find out till later. Do not go to Gonzos on Zarzamora. You'll regret it. Bad business all the way around. Girls are very nice but are pretty much teaching each other how much color and developer and what kind to use. They don't know what they're doing. I learned my lesson and will keep driving the 45 mins to a GOOD salon on Huebner.
