I was drawn to this salon bc of their claim for using non-toxic products. After looking through their website I sent them a message via their online contact form to ask about specific products they use and to get a stylist recommendation for the color service I wanted. They didn't respond to my message so I called them a week later. The woman on the phone sounded out of breath and disorganized. When I tried to confirm pricing she went to look it up and ended up pricing $30 higher than their internet listed prices. First she said the internet prices were wrong. Then she said the internet prices have a "+" next to them meaning they can be higher. ?? She finally told me the internet prices are right, and that she had quoted me to include a blow dry, which apparently is priced a la carte, and did I not want a blow dry? Hmm. Why would any good colorist let you leave the salon without a blow dry so you can see the outcome?? They should include the price of that in the upfront cost. When I told her I sent a message to them without response and the pricing confusion seemed odd she let me know it might be the right salon for me. The unresponsiveness and confusion I can deal with when they're wrapped in apology, and I've worked reception for a busy hair salon so I know how it can be. But the sassy service I can't tolerate. Pass for me.
