I went in with high hopes. I really did. Erica is a nice lady but she didn’t listen to what I wanted. Originally I asked for a trim, straight across and side bangs. She asked if I wanted a little bit of layering but then when she finished they were literally two inches apart. When she fixed it, this happened. Still layered. Didn’t fix a very long hair that kept falling in my face even though I asked her repeatedly. As I was trying to get my money back, she made me wait a long time while another customer ranted at me. She does not listen to you, she said “this looks like my hair” “this is very popular” even though I kept telling her I didn’t want it. Don’t go here. Ever. Cherry on top: she stood with the money in her hand, argued with me, gossiped about me with another customer and grabbed me before she gave me the money back.

Erica is a fantastic hair stylist and very sweet person.The salon was very clean.She did all her work very patiently…She totally deserves five stars…

I work close by so it was an easy choice. Little did I know it would be the best thing I've done for myself in years! Erica was so kind and friendly. I was quite nervous to choose a new haircut after years of same plain style and she helped me relax and enjoy myself. The cut came out perfect, color as well! Highly recommend. Will be a forever customer!

Erica was very nice, I think she don’t listen to what you want. Took 99 years old to get a permanent. I told her I wanted it cut. She took her to wash the hair I said to her are you not cutting the hair first she said after I said but you would cut the permanent off she said no that’s how her teacher thought her. Now my little lady don’t have a curl in her hair. When I call her back explaining to her the hair is falling in the middle she never offered for me to come back or to refund my $108.00+$15.00 tips. Horrible work ethics. Would not recommend this salon

I went to Black Swan to see Erica specifically, based on prior reviews and I couldn't be happier about it. Erica gave me an exceptional haircut, probably one of the best cuts I have had in many years. The products that she uses are wonderful, and I think it was a very good experience overall.
